Time for an update?

I have nothing to say. I'm bored and waiting for a text message. I have very few friends left at home since everyone I know has moved off to college, and I don't have a boyfriend. So really... what is there to do? Nothing. Exactly. I just realized that everything I just said makes very little sense.

This is this really strange noise coming from somewhere in my room and I can't find it! You know those motion sensor Halloween decorations? The ones that make the scary, high pitched noise? Well that's the noise that I hear, it's very annoying.

I re-discovered a love of mine today. PostSecret. It's an ongoing art project involving postcards and secrets. It's a beautiful project! I am never disappointed. My big sis has the books and I've read all the way through the most recent one. Check it out!!!

My little sister sleeps in the room next to mine, and she talks a LOT while she sleeps. It's very very creepy and terrifies me. But what can you do?

The month of January is almost over and that means it's almost time for my next orientation for my trip. That also means my trip is closer and I need to be doing research! Oops. Maybe I'll work on that tomorrow, but probably not.

So I was surprised to read that I've had this blog since 2004. That's right, 6 years and this is my first post. That's a lie! I've had posts before, but they weren't at all intelligent or funny. So I deleted them! One of my friends is taking a class all about/for blogging this semester and that got me thinking about how I have a blog that I don't ever use! So here we go.

I'm a college student, a sophomore. I live at home right now because for this spring semester I am studying in the Czech Republic. But I don't leave for a few months still so I'm working to save up extra money and living at home is free >.< I do not enjoy living at home very much, but I can stand it.

I am addicted to Twitter. I get updates via text message about 500 times a day. It makes me feel like I have friends who love me. :)

I work at a convenience store. :( Not cool, but money is money. Plus it's an easy job. And when you live in a tiny town in the middle of Nebraska you really don't have THAT much to choose from! My boss loves me.

I've just recently been exposed to what I believe is possibly the most amazing thing ever. Wizard Rock music... I had no idea this existed. It's now my favorite music genre.

I'm also on this crazy diet... I don't like to talk about it much, but I think it's going okay so far. (It's only been going on for like a week)

Now this is getting really really long! I have to go shower for work!
